Does the VIN number on your ownership match your car?
For many cars of a certain age, errors occur at a dealer or the MTO over the years and the document does not reflect the number on the car. We have a special VIN correction form that we fill out that you take to Service Ontario to correct this. This situation is much more common than many people suspect. I recently looked at a 1981 Ferrari, that only had 50% of the digits of the VIN number on the ownership.
